Netflix

Recommended Posts

I tried watching some of that Sunderland series but it was massively drawn out and gave up on it quite quickly. It was pretty dull stuff padded with minutiae.

A series about Super League clubs could work well if it gets to the heart of what it’s like being a player so the viewer feels it.

The training, the pre-match preparation and team talks, the contact, playing with injuries etc. That’s what I want to see, anyway. Warts and all.

Imagine if Netflix remade 'another bloody sunday' Except this time it was Leeds in 2016, 2018 and now...

They could start with this 2018 film currently on Amazon Prime?
