Graham
Chad Townsend was sent off for flattening Ponga in the R17 game today between Knights and Sharks. Despite the dramatic looking incident commentators on the incident have been split on whether it was a sending off offence or not. https://www.foxsports.com.au/video/league/nrl/townsend The Australian Rugby League Forum

Graham
If he pleads guilty Townsend gets a three game ban. If he goes to the judiciary pleading not guilty and loses, it would be a five game ban. The Australian Rugby League Forum
DavidM
They were trying to get into Ponga all game . He was ripping them apart . The play had stopped , it was cheap and cowardly and dangerous . I’ll say something for Ponga , as well as being brilliant he’s a hard nugget . He takes it and cones back for more

Graham
I remember now it was Mick Morgan who ‘ can’t spake’. Lovely bloke, great player in his time. Someone has been clever with the dubbing. Mick Morgan's meltdown has had a bit more exposure over recent years, with it being dubbed over Neymar doing the mortally-wounded act after someone brushed past him, then apparently Jack Whitehall featured the original footage in a BBC TV show earlier this year.
