The interesting feature is that it is the SL that is offering a place in their league, on application,  yet the decisions about who is or isn't eligible for promotion theoretically lies with the RFL.

Were has this information come from about the million pound share is it fact or just another RL rumour?. 

I agree with you Ainley that the preference has already been debated by the Super League clubs and I can safely bet Batley will not have been in the frame.

Apparently there are a few interested with Bradford, Fev, Halifax, Leigh, Toulouse and York said to be in the process of considering  making applications.

Now it has been revealed that only clubs who have finished in the top six in the Championship in 2018 and 2019 are eligible to apply. That brings it down to seven clubs.
