They've tried to set it up that way, they did a draw at the first round and then it goes to a flow chart,

The carpentras v Carcassonne was on the Carpentras Facebook page,

88 to 6 Carcassonne v Carpentras, 88 to 0 limoux v Lescure, 78 to 22 ferrrals v Pia, villeghailanc have beaten Toulouse 44 to 24 (or something like that, Albi won easily v Villeneuve, Avignon beat the Catalans, st Gaudens 30 Villefranche 20

So next round is

Carcassonne v Lézignan

Avignon v Pia

The other side of the draw is 

Limoux v st Gaudens 

Villeghailanc v Albi

I think FFR13 have the score the wrong way round!

So the quarter-finals will be competed for by the teams currently in the top seven places in Elite 1 and VARL XIII who are third in Elite 2.

I think that's almost how the federation wanted it!! It was almost a seeded draw to make sure that 4 of the top 5 make the semis

We don't know yet, the semis are in Albi either at the union ground or the Albi ground, the federation have reserved both grounds, double header I guess

Should be a one-sided rout.

Annoying they have moved the kick off time so I will have to go straight to Toulouse.

Carcassonne v Lezignan on YouTube at present.

Escare in good form for the Canaries.  Baitieri on a wind-up mission for Lezignan.  Things boiled over just before the half hour mark, with Lezignan suddenly down to 11 - one red, one yellow card.

6-0 to Cracassonne at present.

Lezignan levelled, but on the stroke of half time, Carcassonne went over again.  HT 12-6

All ended a bit anti-climactically.  Lezignan somewhat lost their cool and conceded late penalties.  Very last tackle caused a mass handbags session and a Lezignan player was red-carded.

Much of a crowd there at this and other Lord Derby cup matches this weekend?

Lezignan discipline was atrocious. When they played rugby, looked like they could win, especially scoring when it was 13 v 11 but threw it away by their actions.
