What are we doing wrong that we keep getting hammered by referees.

Littler has to get it sorted  for our next two season defining games.

Are we really getting hammered by referees?

With respect you seem slightly obsessed with refs.

I just picked up on the comments on twitter

i do think we have been disproportionally penalised by refs this season. Let’s be honest we have had some shockers.

I reckon reffing an RL game is hard but the RL need to get these guys up to speed for the championship and L 1  maybe we need our elite refs to referee more games

Final score 14 - 62. Back to second, all we want now is for the Hornets to put one on Doncaster tomorrow. What am I doing cheering the Hornets on  -  it must be the sun.

Sorry, would love to help you lot out but the next Preston Guild is 2032 and Hornets winning at Doncaster usually coincide with that.

Any decision (or non-decision) a referee makes usually upsets one set of fans but more often than not they are correct when you look back although they do make mistakes and do miss things.

I was there at New River Stadium yesterday and didn't think the referee did much wrong. In fact his biggest decision went our way when he failed to send off Pat ah Van for lashing out at a Skolars player after he was tackled.

I am sure the coach will be more concerned with the fact we were being held to 10-10 until late in the first half.

In the end we scored 62 points and won away in the baking heat which I am taking as a positive.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

Fantastic result down in London after last seasons debacle.

We started like a house on fire with two early try’s and I think Ah Van had two chalked off for some unknown reason then we had a 10 minute spell where we let a enthusiastic Skolars side back into the game then we clicked back into gear and blew them away with out fantastic attacking brand of rugby.

Whittle and Wilkinson doing 70th minute stints in those conditions was a warrior effort. Really hope there is nothing wrong with our captain Ridyard who went off injured in the second half, does anyone have any news ?

A comment on the officiating we have had this season as been really poor and I do feel like we have been on the wrong end of the 50/50s all season, I’m hoping in the second half of the season they will even themselves out. I hope the club are discussing this with the officials and the RFL.

two massive weeks incoming. Keep the free flowing rugby going and dig deep. Come on the yeds

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!
