And, most likely, nobody gives a toss what you call a bread roll where you come from.

Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted.

You'll be saying that a meat stew with potatoes and veg is the same everywhere next.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

I asked for a fish and a bread cake in a Cornish Fish Shop once. The young lass serving asked me twice, hesitated, then went to fetch the boss.

Good. And then hopefully asked you to read the ****ing menu.

The NCL are trying something different this year and their Awards Event will be taking place during the afternoon of the Grand Final, starting at 12.30., finishing at 4pm.

The venue is the Hilton Garden Hotel at the Emirates  Old Trafford cricket ground. All 46 clubs take at least 4 tickets each ( or they get fined ! ) and the event is generally recognised as one of the best around.

That said some clubs do sometimes struggle to get their reps there whilst others take several tables. If you want to try something totally different then  simply contact one of your  local NCL outfits and test the water - bookings are via them but you'd have to be quick
