What we need is  another proper halfback because  for me Thomas L is a hooker talking of which been reported our old mate Ryley Dean off down under to join Mackay cutters in Queensland cup other news Examiner says Matty off to Oldham and our Bradford fan up to his old tricks again berating FEV

Worrying news coming out of Featherstone Rovers this evening, where some players are saying they haven't been paid.

Isn’t this a reoccurring issue at our kind of level, and something which has previously been muted. Also, I’d take anything Gamecaller says with a huge dose of salt.

It’s a long time since Cameron King played rugby.

I don't think he has played a recognised game since playing for us in the 2019 final has he? Couple of pre-season games in 2020, did his ACL and retired at the end of that season. Think he's even less likely than Chisholm to be able to return close to the 2019 version.

Hooker would be a much easier position to fill than middles. Seeing a few posts from people saying they wouldn't want Nathan Massey, fair enough, but who are we going to sign instead? We've literally only got Springer signed on as a middle so far, plus Yei if he stays. We've lost Lockwood, Smith, Cozza, Moors and Kopczak, we are going to need some more grunt in the middle and there probably aren't too many unsigned middles left in the Championship.

Total agree about Massey, there aren’t many options available in the Uk, and any overseas players at the level we would be looking at, are a gamble.

Why doesn't he back it up with some proof then? As usual anything to have a dig at Fev sad 😔 man.

I’m not saying he was right when you make 100 claims one of them is going hit right one day like putting a quid on all 40 horses at the national one of thems going win for you.

On a serious note hope it gets swiftly sorted and isn’t a major issue good luck with it all

Players are understood to have been notified about the issue earlier this week and have been informed efforts to bring in external funding is underway. Rovers have already confirmed there will be significant reductions to next year's playing budget, with CEO Martin Vickers stating the cut would be around 50 per cent.

This is the worst bit of the article for Fev. Shows funds aren't available currently.  What happens next month?

That's the issue with the Fev page. Can't have a discussion without turning to other clubs.

LOL, within a short while of Shaw posting his story we've had 2 Bulls fans rushing breathlessly to this forum to share it and a third starting a fresh thread about it on the General forum. Yes, we get it, you're all deeply "worried"  🙄
