Great response, just bought my 2nd lot. Just a question; as we only get QR codes in response instead of ticket numbers how does the drawing process work? Are the codes linked to email addresses etc.....

Are the payouts in cryptocurrency?

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

Just to clarify the tickets are on our new ticketing site which automatically generates a QR code to be scanned on phone or on a paper ticket when used. However for the draws this is irrelevant so can ignore it. The system can create a list with names for every ticket purchased so if buy 10 tickets your name is there 10 times. Then the random number is picked and used against that list.

Not sure about publishing the full list everytime but will check if can know your number individually.

Response so far superb as now on £300 draw but obviously each time the prize goes up we have to sell more tickets.

Putying our financial position to one side for 5 mins! We are having our structural report done on our floodlight pylons today thanks to help from Peter McVeigh. LED lights i believe are heavier than halogen soneed to check no issues with 30 years old pylons and how many lights we can get on each one if we can afford them. 8 pylons at moment with 6 lights on each so 48 we have now although mot all working!!!

Next job then costing and trying to get some funding but it won’t cover the cost even if we get it. We just need to not be at risk of them failing and save electricity costs going forward nevermind actually improving them which is a bonus.

Depending upon TV being with us best season and earlier kick-offs whenever possible during the darker January, we mightn't need them anyway which will be a bonus as it will save electricity if we don't have to use them and also give a bit more time to find the cash.

Do they train in the dark ?

They seem to be on 2 or 3 times a week during winter

Sorry but thought this was a Super 6 thread. I know Kevin mentioned floodlights but.....it seems to have started a discussion of another item. Sorry for being picky but.......

Back to thread then! 5 days since #3 went live, how's it going?

Phil is absolutely right. This is a perfect example of what's wrong with our fundraising efforts. We come up with an idea, launch it to not much of a fanfare and then just forget it. This was supposed to be a series of six draws, with the opportunity to repeat the process. Where is the promotion, marketing, advertising of this? There's absolutely nothing to tell the world at large that we're running these draws. Where's the incentive to buy, the reports on winners, the fanfares? Nothing absolutely nothing. It really is very amateur. These draws are going the same way as the lottery, the War Chest and sundry other schemes we have launched and then abandoned. Is there anyone at the club with business or marketing experience- appears not.

Not heard anything about the 3rd draw yet. Maybe still selling tickets. If that's the case let people know that there is a few left and we can snap them up to get the draw underway.

I bought tickets this morning after seeing a BISSA tweet about the £200 draw.

I bought some soon after the £300 draw opened then bought some more last week but it will be the last time without some input from the club.

If they are struggling with the third draw what's it going to be like for a fourth and fifth.

3rd draw went live 2nd December, the day after after Shirt Presentation Night, today's the 13th, have we not sold it yet? Come on people and club, as Bromley says, the pushing from the club has died, people aren't rushing as there's no prompting, no apparent urgency, in fact on anything.
