You could also ask, what damage players who are out of form/not putting in the effort/playing with injuries etc are doing to the morale of the club and its' supporters?

With small squads, changing things around can sometimes just look like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. You can't rotate players if there's no-one else to bring in for certain positions.

Walker needs to play 13 don’t get why barrow haven’t played him there yet will get his best rugby out of him playing in that role be similar to when we had Carl Forster being a ball player in the middle. Even if that means bringing in a DR halfback. I’d also play Broadbent at fullback or be bringing him off the bench as a live wire. Hopefully a prop, half back, second row from Wigan?

Not a great start to the duel reg agreement

Hopefully Smith is fit if not can't see why we don't have Forber back. 

Looks like Wood or MAA at half if Smith isn't fit not sure who plays 9, Wilkinson, Cressy? Strange we couldn't get Hampshire or Farrimond as part of the new arrangement.

Wilkinson played a bit of 9 at Haven,not the most dynamic but did a job, he's the same type of 9 as what wood is so doesn't give much speed from the ruck. Think Forber will be a massive miss

You need a play-maker and kicker at 7 (who can do that - Broadbent?) otherwise Brad Walker will have to do all the kicking.

Apparently Carter was poor at Sheffield, so I'd give Max Moore another go as he scored 2 tries on his debut.

Not seen much of Bedward, but he and/or Ogunwole will likely be in the 17.

What's wrong with Tom Walker?

Real make-shift side, so we'll need to cut out all the stupid penalties, wrong play-the-balls, offsides and bad discipline in general to have any chance.

The main difference seems to be Wigan were offering players to Wakefield but they didn't need any. Whereas with us, we need players but Wigan haven't offered us any

Sounded a bit of a dig at some barrow fans by cresta at the end   Personally don't understand the flack he gets by some, yeah it's a bit of a bad run at the minute but without him barrow would be a lot worse off, great coach imo.

Hear every year people saying we don’t have the budget other teams have, my question is we must not be that bad if you look at some of the players in our current squad? Greenwood, Burke, Costello, Smith, Wood,  B Walker, R Silva there’s 7 players that have played for SL clubs and won’t be on the cheap, (leaving out Shaw as a local and can’t see him being on similar wages) . So we must have some sort of budget? even if you look over the last season players like Sammut, Worthington, Evans, Brooks, langtree wont of been travelling for nothing. Some of these players have been money well spent likes of Langtree, Wood and sammut in his first year. But surely we’ve wasted some money over the years? At least with the dual reg we won’t be throwing money away I suppose. Any other big name players we’ve wasted money on Hock? Lunt?

Barrow pay gud money and every team gets inurys,,, the squad wasnt bad last week with the wigan lads included and we where still not gud enuff

Barrow have to pay decent money to get players to travel. Totally different to being on the M62 corridor with loads of clubs within an hour or so.

But as others have said, injuries in a small squad kills you.
