With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

it states on the 26th of april that mackensie had signed for oldham.

april 27th oldham v midland.

may 5th oldham v newcastle.

may19th oldham v cornwall.

may 26th oldham v keighley

does anybody know what date he did sign for us.

so he as had a month to train, should be quite fit.

and his ban should be over.

Yei, Moran and O'Keefe should be available this week I think. Ted looked like he picked up a nasty knock as well so wouldn't be surprised if he's missing for this weeks game.

Think we need more structural changes rather than just individual replacements. PLT has had two shockers against Midlands and Keighley away from home where he has made numerous errors.  Craven and Ellis just hasn't seemed to gel all season with neither really taking the lead at half back. I'd go Craven and Astley in the halves and let Craven dominate the ball and Logan supporting like we played at Hunslet. Paga onto the bench as we are really missing a dynamic spark off the bench and playing Wildie constantly for 80 mins is negating his attacking threat. With Lawton out I'd guess Taylor or Hirst to the edge and bring Moran straight into loose forward.

In my opinion the main problem seems to be a lack of anyone with natural aggression ( maybe Josh Johstone). Keighley gave it to us on Sunday and we came up short.

Astley to fb either PLT or Aldridge on the bench. Again my opinion Paga is not the answer.

Anyway back to the easy fixtures and loads of points.

Hope the team play with the same attitude. Sunday looked like that's what they were thinking then.

Can't fault the result Keighley out thought and mixed things up quite a lot. There has to be some reference to the whistle blower. I felt throughout the game he was out of his depth and was unable to keep up with the game - the last Keighley was laughably off side. He gave 7 penalties to Oldham's 3 and three of his "penalties" led to tries. His he bothered, no, because nothing will be done about him.

Nevertheless, the best side won on the day. Can't wait for the replays.

Come on The Midlands!

Mate, you really do have to stop blaming referees! It's tiresome. We were outplayed on the day as you correctly stated. My view is that Keighley out-enthused us, probably because a win was essential for them, otherwise we'd have had one foot in the Championship before May was out. Now, it will be a fight to the death and I am confident we will beat them at BP in the next game in July. That will be a fixture not to miss!

Back to the penalties conceded, that's our lack of discipline, not the referee's fault.
