Reeght straight into it. Get rid of him. That result is a joke against Donny coming off back of a 27-0 drubbing and a get out of jail performance at Dewsbury. Get rid now.

Who do you suggest on our  budget now?

Fordy not tackling ( neither were players) not dropping ball, the team we had out made Doncaster look like world beaters, Donny took their chances and were worthy winners.

You're right about poor player performances. I've missed a fair few games this year, however in those I have seen (including today) I'm not sure we're doing any attack training however, which is definitely the coach.

One definitive positive for me after today's performance. I'm on holiday for the two home games in August, so won't have to watch that pants again until September.

Going down middle far too much , throw ball out to wings more.

The one that fell out with other people choosing the players to sign? Not sure that would be a good fit.

All one man. Even the planned move from the scrum with everyone on one side was just plodding.

Re a new coaching appointment on the current budget. Fev Rover asked me a question and I provided an answer which is only my opinion. Just to clear things up I am not Matt Foster and I do not know him on a personal level. My thoughts are he is potentially available with a good playing/coaching background. It was just a thought.

No problem. I didn’t take it as a dig. I just feel that the FR performances are all over the place. Something is just not right.

We're all entitled to a view, and we'll  never all agree. It's all good debate, let's keep at it.

Yes that’s him. I think I know what you mean by your comment but I am not 100% sure. Are you intimidating that’s what happens at FR and therefore Matt Foster would not be good fit?

I don't know it does and have no inside info whatsoever, but I'd suspect so.

Potentially the worst Rovers outfit since 2005. There were players smiling coming off that pitch tonight. Spectators voting with their feet.

We were beaten easily by a team that had the following 8 discarded Ex-Featherstone players; (in fact the Donny team was more familiar to me than our team), a team that has a 50 point swing on us since April 14th.

Briscoe, Hall, Boas, Knowles, McConnell, Smeaton, Ferres and Wallace.

We have no devine right to beat anyone, but what we can expect from a Featherstone Rovers side playing at home is a fight.

I don't know where our club is going now, we've endured so many set backs as a club  since winning the championship in 77 and have overcome them all, this however has a feel of a bridge too far.

The coach, who wasn't my preferred choice can't be blamed for drop ball and missed tackles however how much longer can he last, his record has to be worse than Bastian's.

Today Brad Day and Connor Wynne can hold their heads up, I'm not sure who else can.

England, Bussey, Lecans, Gale, Patton, Turner, Massey all missing today for varying reasons some injured, some out of favour and some on the verge of leaving, some banned. This isn't helping, no settled team.

I don't know anymore. Somebody put me right.

*Pedant head on: England missing because he's signed for Keighley*

No settled team doesn't help. Poor execution of basics doesn't either, nor does an apparent lack of game plan.

I think it's clear we're in a reset as a club, and understandable given the end of last season. What's not clear to me at least is what now, level of ambition, and direction to get there.

The club gave up when they appointed Ford can't really see the point sacking him now we're playing glorified friendlies every week

There not " friendlies" , 2 teams will be relegated this year !

Agree with Andrew Vause summing up as i said earlier worst position team and money wise we have been in for almost twenty years.Ford should stay until the end of the season to achieve best place possible. What does our new director and others the club said may be joining Fev think about the clubs direction?.Yet another mistake by MC keeping Ford on after last seasons back end under performance. Why the hell did we let John Davies go a player who grafted, read the game and enjoyed playing for Rovers.

Could be 3: bottom 2 automatically and 3rd bottom in a play off against the L1 GF winners.

Just gets better ! It will be very tight in the bottom half of the league, don't think we have the fight in the team to battle through, to many changes every week with DR , injuries and suspensions. Tough times ahead.

That one hurt. I don't get to many games a season living in Ipswich having moved from featherstone with the military. I attended last night being in the area. It didn't look like the rovers I've seen over many years since I was 6. There was no spirit. No togetherness. No spark. Coach stood on sidelines like a statue not talking to the players. There's no soul left. Not once did we move up on the 10 to meet them in tackles giving Doncaster a minimum of 13 meters every tackle. It's totally unforgivable.

We've struggled with set completion all season and a lot of that possibly comes down to fitness (or lack of), something we've been good at previously since the days of Powell.
