Agreed. As I mentioned elsewhere, even though he picked up that awul injury he's stuck with the club although only as a trialist there won't have been much in it cash-wise. Every home game he could be seen in the gym, bashing at some piece of equipment on his own, that shows his commitment and desire to get another year at the club

They were doing well until they messed about near Batley's line. Only 3 subs, does that mean there wasn't anybody to fill in HIA's.

Who didn't get on? Well Rog you won't gave to worry about who was 18th man today. The fact we couldn't field 17 is bad enough.

Well if senior or gibbons took their opportunity to play instead of choosing to stay at home we’d of had a full team 

the lads that took the field with knocks and injuries gave their all and we did okay until we tired

KTF I'd be remembering that if I were coach, never mind it being one of the coaching staff's kids. Some will have been hacked off all season at not getting a game then can't show when they're picked. If it were me I couldn't show my face in front of those who I had left in the lurch and put extra pressure on. Maybe they won't be doing, who knows....

Without trying to justify anyone's reasoning for not going, we have to remember that we are talking about part time rugby players who are being asked to travel to an away game at the other end of Europe where they might need to take 4 days off work to go. The players in question aren't regular picks either, so may have been given short notice etc.

Not selected all season. Oh by the way you’re going to Toulouse. None of the Gibbon’s will be at the club next season. At least one new assistant incoming.

Gibbons fair enough but Paul couldn’t have said I don’t wanna make my debut or woods could have cried off and didn’t… Kear no chance of playing everytime he moved in the bar after he was in pain…

Not neccessarily disagreeing, just that a bit of perspective is needed considering the circumstances.

Surely the problem here is that every part time club will have players who are not in a position to play in France on a Friday night. You cannot blame the player if he is unable to get time off or he feels that his work commitments or business comes first.

Superstud, wouldn't be surprised if you weren't right. Only thing is, can we get new players in to give the team a lift on whatever money we save on outgoing contracts, unless your suggested incoming coach is a magnet!!

From what I saw via streaming we started badly, picked up into the game but then ran out of fit bodies and steam. Woods was clearly injured and then went off. White then got a heavy clattering and was injured too from that point on but had to stay on the park. The result did not matter but credit to all the lads that travelled and put in a shift which was always going to be difficult, regardless of team selection.
