patience-

the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious.

"you can find bargains if you have the patience to sift through the rubbish"

I believe that was what Master Po said to grasshopper in an episode of Kung Fu!

Not only that we've got a ten year lease. Someone's Posted that latics have a £5m grant to upgrade Little Wembley.  That's not big news to us, we train at Melrose.

The timing of this can't be a coincidence. Hopefully, for us it's a development that helps us secure a permanent home (he said in hope after Bill's comments).

This bid was put in a while ago to make little wembley community use with astro turf , floodlights and classrooms for the football development classes

If that's the case then that's completely unrelated to the announcement that Bill was referring to.

This is the plan;

and this is the latest from the supporters trust meeting just a few weeks ago

Little Wembley
The Club are waiting to hear about potential grant funding for the Little Wembley project but expect to hear soon. Once they know, we’ll be able to discuss potential OASF involvement and fan contribution in more detail. We explained that some OASF board members are meeting with a community shares expert at the start of February to explore options for a community share offer and how that might fit in.
We also remarked that there is a lot of positive noise about government contributions to regeneration in Greater Manchester at the moment, including in the Old Trafford regeneration and the growth areas announced by Andy Burnham with a heavy focus on the North East of the city region.

Could well be although I could see little wembley being used in some capacity by ORFLC with it being council funded they'll want it to benefit OAFC, ORFLC & the local community..

When Frank Rothwell took over OAFC he said that the area surrounding Boundary Park would be transformed in to a sporting ,educational and entertainment hub for the town. He's well in with the council and this idea will of been in the works for a while.

Where Roughyeds fit in to all this I'm unsure but we'll have to wait and see

I was in the broadway and I also asked bill about the future news, he said it can’t be announced but he was working hard to make sure ORLFC never have to go to another ground again, and that means the ten year lease will be re written along with the history books.

Sounds like we're buying some of the land/stadium off latics
