Credit to your guys for coming to play rugby - and to your supporters for making a noise. Refreshing to see two teams attempting to utilise their skills, rather than their brawn!! The worst thing you did, was to level at 12-12. That finally stirred Leigh into action! You were good value for your four tries though.

We did ok tonight. Leigh really know how to play some effective rugby. This sounds a bit daft from a Dewsbury fan, but I enjoyed watching their attacking skills tonight.

When Fui gets the ball, what a bloody handful that dude is.

Morrison must've read my earlier post, as Muranka and the Delaney's were playing. They didn't disappoint either.

Farrell had a tidy game scoring 2 tries.

Roll on Batley.

We played well tonight, the young lads who came in from our very impressive reserve side james and brad Delaney, Sam Dunn and jason Muranka all stood up well, thought brad tackled superbly!! The futures certainly good with these kids coming through. Leigh's 2nd try looked forward and the refs dodgy call for Byron not playing ball correctly when a Leigh player was all over him at 12 12 and we looked on top seemed really hard and from that moment Leigh got on a roll. Leigh are an excellent attacking team, score some brilliant try's and get the ball out real quick and well but credit to our lads tonight, backed up well from our trip to Cumbria against a fulltime club, can't knock the lads!! Let's hope it ain't took too much out of us for Sunday. I'd expect to see hydey, Grady, wildie, Seymour and Auzue back Sunday

thanks for the nice words, goodluck in the middle 8s, hope you guys go up. One thing that made me laugh on twitter, a Leigh fan tweeting to say her daughter was calling Joel Farrell mini mini moi moi

Leigh 36 - Dews 14

MOM for Dews Delaney

Atten: 1566.

Glad you were wrong with the attendance. Was worried it would drop off for a mid week night match. Was very happy with a crowd of 3,244. Was helped by a small but noisy bunch of Rams fans too!

Was impressed by you guys tonight. Looked structured and disciplined in attack and defence and kept us frustrated for large portions of the match. Was very close barring a 12 minute period when we scored 4 tries and went from 12 - 12 to 34 - 12 in no time.

Thought Farrell went really well and Brad Delaney looks like a promising talent too.

Good luck in the 8's, hope you beat Fev to the Shield!

Unable to make game due to prior engagement but followed game on Twitter, sounds like we played well it was just a couple of 10min spells,no disgrace conceding 40 how many teams have done that this season,& how many teams have scored 24 at LSV this season? Nice to see the likes of Sam Dunn,Jason Muranka,Brad & James Delaney given there chance tonight, the future looks very bright. Only downside is the injury picked up by Toby Adamson,it looks like he's fractured his cheekbone. Plus heard Brett Seymour may have a broken foot!!

Was impressed with Farrell. He proved to be a handful, making big yards then getting the offload away.

He's that sort of player, not always a first team

Regular mind but should be. We've got talented kids now coming through, thank god we have no dual reg and have a 2nd team for the likes of the delaneys.. Did you read the article on brad Delaney playing against Mickey higham?? Brads dad Paul played against higham in the 2000 NFP grand final

Massive prospect. Underrated by some on this forum and apparently not fit enough to play every week but we should play him as much as we can before someone like Leigh comes along and Makes him an offer!

Can offload for fun if allowed.

You played very well and in the first half I thought the result would be a lot closer I think the result doesn't reflect how good you played to be fair, and well done to the fans that came over and made some noise a great crowd for a Wednesday [3,244] even more than I thought we would have on, anyway good luck for the rest of the season you're a good club with great fans.

Well impressed with the whole team of rams. Farrell had an absolute belter but to do that you need a good team around you. WELL DONE to all the players you can hold your heads high, it was WELL WELL worth the snarl-ups on the M62 to watch a gutsy performance like that.

Proud as punch.

Listened in to the second half and not a bad effort, shame you couldn't pull it off like the last team to beat Leigh on their own ground.... I wonder which fantastic team pulled that off? ;)

Too far back for anyone to remember PM. It wouldn't be one who has been flirting with relegation like a teenage lass would it?

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

"They all worked very hard and hopefully we can get enough bodies fresh and fit for Sunday against Batley"

A youthful Dewsbury Rams side became only the second team to run in more than 20 points at the Leigh Sports Village this season as Glenn Morrison's men fell to a 40-24 defeat against Leigh Centurions, who secured the League Leaders' Shield with the win on Wednesday night.

That's a good and fair report on the game, again well done Dewsbury on a great performance, from a Leyther.
