I recently saw the Wedding Present for the umpteenth time and they were utterly superb; as good as they ever were looking back to the 1990s onward. I think I may have ranted about it on here. Anyway, this recording in Paris is the closest you will get to seeing them live. 

I love the fact that Gedge has found such good musicians to work his magic with. They did some brilliant lockdown stuff too.

In 1977, Albert Finney released an album. Many actors did this, and I'll post a real shocker next. But Finney's LP was released by... Motown. :kolobok_unsure:

I promised a shocker, and I'd advise that you listen via headphones, earphones or whatever, because if anyone hears you listening to this, they'll never look at you quite the same way again.

Even though sexual politics was massively different back in the Seventies, this must be as far beyond the pale as a household name has ever gone while still remaining in gainful employment.
