I've come into possession of a large number of what I believe may be quite sought after marvel comics

 

anyone know where I could get them valued?

There's a shop in one of the arcades in Leeds , thorntons arcade I think, that deals in them

I know nowt about comics Phil but there is a comics etc shop in Hebden Bridge called 2 Tone Comics. It's near Sid's records shop...

I'd check some selected titles' prices online, using the ISBN or other ID, so you'll have a rough estimate of their worth. Then you'll know whether a shop is trying to rip you off when you sell.

You can have a look on eBay to see what these are going for. Look at actual sales not just asking prices of course. Apart from a few really rare or sought after comics most are not that valuable. Orbital comics next to Leicester Square tube station buy old comics.

Is the comic shop still there? Last I heard it got badly damaged in the floods and the owners couldn't afford to open back up.
