They drew with Wales last week, should be comfortable for any side at home who fancy the top 6. Although you’ve now scored a massive 4 points in 120 minutes of competitive rugby at home. Some going to be that bad with the ball

It's a cup game and they are in  our league as you will find out when you play them.we don't struggle against amateurs.

Fair play to Workington, did a professional job today. They showed lots of class after the game too coming back to our clubhouse - really nice lads to chat with.

End of the road for us in the CC this year but we were by no means hammered and puts us on a good footing for the upcoming NCL premier season - winning that is the aim.

Good luck in the next round, Town.

Really ? I’d just wipe the sweat off and leave it if I were you . They should see them off comfortably even with men missing and town will be the upset  .

Can anyone give us the story behind Distington's heraldic badge? It looks quite an unusual design.

Coventry's lively fullback Harry Chapman scores the first try of the match, after Distington kicked a penalty earlier.

Coventry strike back quickly, with a neat cross-field chip to Jason Bass (sp?).

HT at Odsal 38-0.

And when they found our shadows

Grouped around the TV sets

They ran down every lead

They repeated every test

They checked out all the data on their lists

And then the alien anthropologists

Admitted they were still perplexed

But on eliminating every other reason

For our sad demise

They logged the only explanation left

This species has amused itself to death

No tears to cry no feelings left

This species has amused itself to death

In mitigation, I read it that they thought he had lost the ball in the tackle.

Didn't look good to me, but you may well be right, in which case, apologies to the players involved...
