Lunt aside, our recruitment is utterly appalling.

In Brown & Manning, we have two players in the team of the decade plus Lunt this season. Whilst Iagree we don't have the quality through the team like some of the larger supported clubs in our league, but did we when we reached the NR cup or made it to the GF? What we need is a TEAM and we'll be OK

The teams which reached both finals were packed with quality.

No-one expects us to be continually paying out big bucks for ex-Super League stars, but adding players to the squad who wouldn't stand out in Championship 1 is an utterly pointless venture.

We don't know that yet, give him a chance.

Last night what a change, it was nice to see Kevin back on form, and two comedians in Jonny Campbell and Shaun Lunt in their replies to Kevin's witty remarks.

I agree with you Tony, however it would appear we have been shafted by Hull.

It is also worth noting that all that the SL clubs have done with the extra money from the TV deal is, to increase their squad sizes using players from the Championship. They don't seem to have any intention of playing them regularly themselves, they would rather loan/DR them back to the club they got them from, so they don't have to to pay the full wages for them and that way they can influence the game outside of the top tier and make it a farce, so we'll all just give up.

For me Yates is too small

(a poor man's gareth moore)

ok size can be irrelevant if your tough/fast/brave/ skillfull enough but with pivots taking the ball to the line they are always going to get clobbered either legally or by a hard body shot.

Thank goodness we've another player though and gives more options and cover!

'Shaw cross juniors, Birkenshaw, Mirfield, Heckmondwike Panthers, Stainland Stags and then the Heavy woolen donkeys... WARDY, STOZZA, GT, KARL OR KEAR MUST OF DROPPED A DIGIT FROM MY MOBILE NUMBER! :clapping:

Can't believe he is still playing. Always had more talant than his brother Andy but in his younger years did not have the attitude that was required for him to get a chance at Wigan.

He is still only 28 blue ox
