Bump.

The women's match is already under way.

Women's game is very entertaining, even if both sides are wearing black shirts/shorts/socks.

One of the benefits of having a World Cup next year is we might be able to use the extra 12 months to unearth some new stars. Really impressed with 2 or 3 players on each side.

For a lot of players (Bedford at least, but presume London as well), you can count the number of League games played on one hand.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

It shows how the simple run hard, tackle hard element of RL for women can create opportunities for real growth.

Who's the co-commentator? A familiar voice, but I can't put a name to it. And he's just pronounced Gigot's surname two different ways in a single sentence. :kolobok_biggrin:

Steve McCormack, I think.

On the bright side, London are holding them to only 1 try per set.

I was thinking the same, a SL team playing in the wrong league it seems.

Gigot's a legend as well. I'm not sure he'll get on that well in SL, but great to watch,... another Toulouse try!

Chuffing ell! Even when London kept them in their own half they fumble the kick on the final tackle and give it back and Vaivai falls on the simple grubber for a 5th Toulouse try. And a very difficult conversion is out over.

London 0-30 Toulouse, 27 gone.

As I said on the other thread, isn't that statement an echo of what people were saying about Toronto?

Vaivai in for a first half hat-trick. Toulouse get the ball on their line, a break up to the 40 and a kick into the in goal to get a drop out and before you know it they are in again.

London 0-36 Toulouse, hooter goes for half time.
