Really glad to see Cru win a close fought game at Swinton.

Midlands look like once again they’ll be the best of the bad lot but hopefully they’ll kick on and start challenging the lower play off teams.

Took hurricanes a long while to pull away at skolars, but sooo glad we did Swinton over 😄

Again! Going to be a fascinating battle for promotion this year.

Delighted for Crus.  Would be great to have them in Championship.

Likes your post, but please, we are Cru, not Crus 😉

Brilliant win, and the margin would appear to indicate that we've now fixed our rather leaky defence - roll on next week. With regard to that it might be time to do something about our website which is still showing the game as being on Saturday with a 17.30 ko.

The club are working on a new website, don't know how long it's going to take though.

Great win for Crusaders. Really pleased for their fans and maybe time to think about a genuine promotion challenge this year!

It would be nice, but a little too early to dream just yet.....we've got to play our two bogey teams in cougars and Donny twice yet.

But, I do think we may have a better chance this year than last 🤞🤞

Hurricanes need to play better than they did today if they want to compete against the better teams in the division. Skolars were spirited and not without invention but were given too many cheap opportunities to attack the Midlands line. Can't argue with the final score though.

Didn't expect the Cru's win and will be interested to read the reports on how it panned out. Brilliant for them.

I agree. At this stage teams have most of their first choice players fit, as the season wears on the lack of depth in all L1 squads (it's caused by the lack of something called money) kicks in and the loss of key players can easily upend a season.

The issue is with the ownership of the website domain...the website has been designed by a company and we dont have ownership rights...thats about to change. A new website has been designed and is about to be launched and Crusaders will have ownership of the site and the content. The Supporters Trust are paying for the site to be set up.

The Midlands Hurricanes game is on Sunday 24th April with a 2:30 kick off.

I was at Swinton for the Top of the League clash.

What an exciting game. Swinton threw the kitchen sink at us for 25 minutes and we had to defend multiple sets. Swinton had plenty of possession and territory but could not get past a resolute Crusaders defence.

Two cracking Crusaders tries and a delicate drop goal was the very fine margin between the two sides. A really good advert for League 1. Swinton were excellent...but I'm so glad we won

we were more excellent!!

fixed that for you mate 😉

actually, reading the league express match report, we also won the "tries disallowed for forward passes" by 3-1, which is also good to know, means we're creating the opportunities more which is a good sign. And as for defence, to keep swinton to 6 is a massive achievement, hope the lads had a good rest today after that 🙂
