No mention of that in the CEOs announcement…. i would expect he knows what he is talking about. But maybe you have inside information not available in the public domain.

Although the game was announced on the Rochdale AFC website in April 2021, again the agreement was stated to be between Hornets, the RFL and Fiji RL. 

Also for the original game, fans were directed to Hornets website to purchase tickets.

The RFL aren't going to organise a game at a ground without actually liaising with the owners of that ground are they?

Thought that's what you were hinting at, but the difference is as you state  "on tour" which was in mid season and club sides were really up for having a crack at these relatively unknowns from tother side of world who would turn out against the club sides, and one more little point that you may not be able to comprehend or would choose to dismiss is that the rules being a vastly unsanitised version of today really added to the occasions, Leigh always had a fixture as did Wigan, Saints and Wire I used to go to them all.

Also Rochdale have a capacity restriction of 920 for reasons the club are unwilling to announce. Unless that is removed I cant see the game being played at Rochdale.

Thanks Anita, that was my finding on looking on the web for information hence my question.

They won’t play. They’ll be with England, where they should be.
