Dave Whelan "In Wigan rugby will always be king"

The injury list includes Sarginson, Williams, King, Greenwood, Burke, Wells, Costello, Addy and Wright.

But hey what do you say. It pretty worked to script.

A dominant Wigan pack made the spaces for the zippy Field and French to exploit SRD's loose edges.

There was a British Army presence in and out of the AJ Bell. Sadly it seemed like the surrender of SIngapore for the Reds. It was so predictable that it sort of felt like a friendly. The real stuff comes next week versus Wakefield.

That pie pack. Mago warmed up to come on right in front of where we were sat. Unsure whether yer man is more "compact" than the L118 artillery gun outside the ground. Indeed it just looked like Wigan's front line were significulty chunkier than Salford? Lots of eggs or just that top indigo kit?

Anyway, good (for SRD) crowd of just below 6,000. Reflects a nice potential there investors???

The newbies were OK, they both have played Onion so they had quite an idea what was going., We all thought Kendal made some erm curious decisions, which though didn't win the game for Wigan, made it so much harder for SRD to do so. For all the delightful fast movement, deep inside the Wigan RL soul lies the Grub probably answering to the name Ollie or Batesy.

The whisky remains untouched this weekend. Big one next week with Wakefield at home. Must must win.

You can only be optimistic. ✌️😄✌️

I was at the game last night and I have since watched the game over on TV. I was of the opinion that the first half was a good competitive game and then Wigan just blew them away in the second half scoring some fantastic tries.

I was obviously wrong. Having read through most of the garbage written in this thread Wigan won the game due to playing forward passes, getting every decision in their favour and gaining penalties for mouthing off.

I feel better now that I am full possession of the facts.

I think Wigan are fantastic to watch. Everything is done at speed.

Field and French in particular.

Tonight's game between Catalans and Hull had no pace at all by comparison, even allowing for the heat.
