Suprised its not been mentioned on here yet Jake has signed for Hunslet on a season long loan according to Love Rugby League

Another young player not given a fair chance. Well it looks like it's the last we'll see of him in a Rams shirt. Good luck Jake.

These young players just require nurturing playing experience and confidence building game time. Some of them have not been selected for weeks. Relegated to the sidelines watching their supposed experienced colleagues under perform each and every week. Inevitably they have no choice but to move on in an effort to further their career’s. Will things change? Who knows?

You can’t really blame him he’s had his path blocked by a 42 year old. He’s proven at league 1 and exactly the player you would want to keep when the inevitable happens

Wish him all the best.  Big future given the right start me thinks.

He needs game time. Whilst he did well at League 1 level, I can't say he stood out at Championship level. Makes sense to go to Hunslet and get some game time.

Can't say if we'll never see him in a Rams shirt again.

Lad needs game time for Finny to have a good look at him, sensible decision to go out on loan for me

To build some confidence after having it shot by the previous coach

Good luck Jake 🤞🤞🤞🤞

At a time when agents arr starting to tout their players for next season and beyond it is the right thing for him to do. I wouldnt be suprised if he was just the first

To be fair that's what happens every season. Much will depend on Finn's view

If we stay up, can't see many Championship clubs coming in for our players. Keighley might poach a few possibly.

If we get relegated, expect there will be more turnover.

Agreed but my point was more about those not getting game time wanting away to put themselves in the shop window...l guess time will tell

Would have thought Gabriel & Ryder will be high on the list for championship 1 teams shopping lists

But we're not down yet 🤔

My understanding is that contracts can be null and void if a club gets relegated, leaving players free to seek employment elsewhere and relieving the club of then financial burden that might not be met due to much reduced distribution payments.

The only difference bis a club night get a fee, but contracts are worthless really.
