Toulouse out of pocket again

Like if someone who is a ball runner and can pass a ball with accuracy would favour the present Salford before Wigan?

No chance sadly H. Ultimately if you think you are good enough you go to the best environment for you on average - and academies like Wigan pump out top quality players all the time.

Corrupt rather than just not particularly well handled?

Yes Corrupt, to three clubs, "Sorry lads your grounds are not good enough and don't come up to standard, so get them sorted or your out" to be fair one of them sorted it out in 3 years but 13 years later..............

Which is what all ' fans of the sport ' want to see change , don't you ? , Well don't you ?

I see you have found a new hobby horse Gubrats.

From an "all sport" perspective, I want a well funded academy system that produces the strongest pro player pool possible; whilst not decimating the junior game to put some lads through sub standard facilities to make some clubs feel like they are bigger than they are. If that is 6 academies across the whole country, so be it.

Only in such a way that there is more talent than Wigan etc can scoop up annually. Restricting them in some vague equality push is frankly nonsense.

And also Tommy reject loads of kids who are probably lost to the sport, they hoover up as many as possible afraid to miss anyone.

PS are you board with watching your team on TV?

That's just player production it seems. Even the most efficient production lines need X number of players to produce Y. The question RL has is what those numbers are, and what is a responsible way to do it.

We've not had a man sin binned so we clearly don't know how to play with 13!

Then that production system is wrong, limit each club to the number of signings they can make each year, too many lads are signed up with expectation for the future only to be discarded and then they walk away.

Doesn't look like the know how to play full stop, and were is Newman, not injured again is he?

That is one solution. Though to me it is weakening the production line - and consequently would have an impact on our international strength.

Newman was injured against HRK a month ago

Virtuous circle isn't it H.

No, it is a purpose built advantage, Leigh had everything in place with an academy manager - Gareth Carvell, a coaching and background staff and welfare officers all in place, plus £400K budgeted to run it, can thus cash strapped game afford to turn that down, or was there some ulterior motive in the decision to turn them down like being close to Wigan, Saints and Wire? Since that decision Wigan have signed more Leigh lads to their Scholarship programme than they have signed Wigan lads.

Is £400k enough to run an academy?

And what was the long term basis for the funding?

Having more lads playing the game would be impacting on our international strength?

On Newnan is he just unlucky or brittle?, not worth risking a squad place with him in the world cup if he keeps breaking down.

Oh here we go

Leeds spend 10 million a year on their academy , they have 73 people running it , the players all get gold plated boots

Leeds , Leeds , Leeds , Leeds

Even if Leigh had an Academy don’t you think a lot of those amateur Leigh lads would still have signed for Wigan.or Saints.

Nope.

Just wanted you to explicitly accuse the RFL of corruption.

Getting Harry too was a bonus, mind.

In that case don't you EVER criticise Leigh for not having one , and I expect you to defend us against anybody else EVER criticising us for it in the future
