In years gone by at least in the past they had a few forwards who you'd think could go toe to toe with some big names, the likes of Ferrioll, Casty, Bousquets etc. but their pack is so poor. I've been involved in this sport for a very long time, and there has always been those who have that arrogance and swagger about them that fans want to see them taken down a peg or two but invariably the dislike for them comes from being very adapt at what they do on the field of play. As I said previously I'm not sure why the IRL are allowing NRL refs with little NRL refeering experience. In some cases some of these referees haven't refereed a NRL game for quite some time and have been merely touch judges.
