Drama! That kick stopped perfectly for the touchdown, and Brazil end up winless after a see-saw match. Could be the basis for a North/South Americas rivalry in years to come.

I thought Pakulis was the difference there. Her tirelessly taking up the ball again and again was huge.

Brazil really surprised me. They have improved so much. Both nations will now need to work on their domestic games to make the most of what they've gained in the WC.

The really encouraging thing for both nations is they already know they have qualified for France 2025.

It means they can spend the next three years building for that tournament and have the perfect carrot to really embed their local competitions.
