During my brief and highly (un)successful  playing career 60 years ago, I'd have stood no chance at all playing against either side.

Drama! That kick stopped perfectly for the touchdown, and Brazil end up winless after a see-saw match. Could be the basis for a North/South Americas rivalry in years to come.

Great ending to a thrilling and close game. Sure, poor structure, loose passing etc but close, so close, right to the very end. Now for England Vs PNG.

Both these teams deserve huge credit. They've had some very tough games and taken a battering against the better teams yet have gone on to have one of the most exciting games of the World Cup with both teams giving it their all.

I thought Pakulis was the difference there. Her tirelessly taking up the ball again and again was huge.

Brazil really surprised me. They have improved so much. Both nations will now need to work on their domestic games to make the most of what they've gained in the WC.

Loved the game between two evenly matched sides. Not the best from a purist point of view but very enjoyable all the same. Both teams seemed to enjoy being part of our rugby league world. Look forward to them improving and at the next world cup.

The really encouraging thing for both nations is they already know they have qualified for France 2025.

It means they can spend the next three years building for that tournament and have the perfect carrot to really embed their local competitions.
