Not seeing emojis in posts

Over the last couple of days I have been seeing quite a lot of small blue boxes with a question mark within it in place of an emoji within posts.

Is this just something I am experiencing or do other posters have the same issue?

I see the emoji but with a JPEG style icon next to it..

I have just flagged this with my 9 year old daughter and she assures me that when we all get a bit more mature we will be less bothered about using emoji's.

Emojis are great.... especially if you're a sarcastic b*gger like me.... without them I'd offend a lot more people but I get away with it with a or a .

Anyway, what would a girl know about a man's right NOT to grow up?!
