Three of those appear perfectly sensible nominations. Salford have dropped from 6th to 7th and that gets you nominated?

Whilst I admire what Rowley does with such a pittance to work with, I think the KR man warrants this accolade more!

Has to be Lam. An amazing season for a promoted side.

Agreed.

They are all worthy contenders.
Willie Peters deserves an honourable mention as does Rohan Smith - plenty of appreciation across the league for Rohan’s work this year.

Is Rowley a worthy contender?

I would add that I like Rowley and enjoy watching Salford, but they dropped into the bottom half of the table after making the Semi Final last year.

It feels like Peters should have been in that slot, and Wellens has recovered the team well to finish level at the top.

I agree that Rowley is a bit fortunate to be one of the contenders. Willie Peters seems a more obvious choice and I'm not sure if the World Club Challenge actually gets taken into account for something like this but there's an argument for Wellens to be on there for winning that and then finishing level on points with the league leaders.

Lam should definitely win it though. It's unprecedented for a promoted team to have achieved what Leigh have this season and they are more than capable of making it to the Grand Final too.

With Dave T having started the thread, assumed Powelly was getting it.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.
