I know Bono and he knows Ono and she knows Enos phone goes thus

Faalogo's footwork has got a bit of Benji about it.

He's going to be a player who lights things up with his razzle-dazzle.

He's the best thing about this game. Some prospect!

Absolute star of the future - born and raised in Samoa until he was 13 when he moved to Melbourne.

Won't be leaving the Samoan team for a very long time.

Lovely tip-on from Faalogo and Leilua backing up to go over.

Faalogo is going to have a nice highlight reel from this game alone.

Homme du Match IMO, in a losing team. Some effort by a kid on debut. He couldn't have done more to give his side a chance.

would describe that Aus performance as "laboured"- very beatable outfit

DCE's outward arcing grubber sits up for Staggs to  bag a deserved try after a strong game.

38-12 at the final hooter. And Sky cut away very quickly.

Forgettable in most regards, apart from Faalogo.

theres no Lockyers Kimmorleys Menzies or Fittlers in this outfit- shame we not getting a crack at them yet again

We all said something very similar 12 months ago!

England would still be a significant underdog vs this Aussie team.

Payne Haas the difference. Samoa poor in defence and slow off the mark (much like opening World Cup game last year). Otherwise very even and entertaining game

Even tho Samoa lost I think we've just witnessed a superstar coming out tonight at flb for Samoa.

The Storm fullback factory keeps producing the goods! Samoan young teams showed its inexperienced tonight and this game will only make them better. Volkman and Asi needs to be the halves next week.

Taulagi definitely made Cobbo look average tonight and Mal definitely picked the wrong winger.

And the kangaroos will try everything before the world cup to keep Haas and Tino happy so they won't go to Samoa lol

Taulagi is error prone but still a decent winger. I was surprised when he was picked for Australia last year though, it’s clear they don’t have a lot of quality in this position after Addo Carr.

I don’t get the hype on Cobbo, never have. He’s very young so could prove me wrong but I have a feeling he’ll be another Nick Cotric

Good summary.

Even though they lost, the young fella sprinkled his stardust all over that 80 minutes.

All of the youngsters will be better for having that game.

I posted on the International forum after 10 minutes that this will be a blowout.

But Samoa did very well to stay in the game and stop the points flowing.  Yes, Australia were never in danger of losing after the first 20 but still plenty of heart from Samoa.

With 20mins to go I thought it would be a blow out to 50pts when Haas and Tino returned. 9 debuts for the samoan team and they'll only get better from here. They showed alot of promise

Error prone? Taulagi is probably one of the safest player in the nrl. I don't ever remember games where Taulagi did a lot of errors. You must mean Cobbo because he's around the top 5 for the most errors this season. Taulagi is no where near that list.

No Taulagi, either with ball in hand or his defensive positioning/decision making. He’s very safe under the high ball

I don't know if your serious or not. But Taulagi is one of the best finishers and a very good defensive player. Did you watch him at Origin this year?

I wasn’t commenting on his finishing.

If you have a different opinion that’s fine. And yes I’ve watched him play a lot, including origin

How many times have we heard this over the years? 🤣

Samoa really could have done with a game before playing Australia. It's a pity they couldn't have got a game v Tonga before Tonga flew to England.

Lachy Lam having an absolute blinder. A pity the Kumuls three best players and Captain/Goal Kicker are all out (Ipape, Lam, Coates, Martin). PNG still dominating as expected, but I can’t image the Kumuls with those 4.
