Not a vote of confidence in Oli Burton though. I think he has great potential but we don't give him much of a chance

3 specialist hookers. 2 out of the 3 will be playing each week. I'm also led to believe that Leaky has some work commitments to fulfil this year too. We keep calling out for squad depth. Well this is just that. Atleast this way White can concentrate on his role at halfback and we wont have to pull him out of position to fill in as hooker, like we did most of last year.

If I were oil I’d be buzzing to learn from both hookers - as they’ve been both been the best 9s in the championship over the last decade or so… hopefully not the last bit of business 

as for white it cost us him playing 9 at Wembley, we just didn’t have any ruck speed until leak came on he’s a better 6 than hooker

Probably a good move for everyone. Brandon was down the pecking order at Fax this season and he was after guarenteed minutes, its a top earner off our books and to be honest he had gone stale so a change of club could do him good. Batley get a really hard working player, a good bloke who is respected by his piers, and certainly an upgrade at hooker.

Agree Bromley, we need to be playing Oli this time, he's been waiting 3 seasons now. Would be a mistake to loan him out again especially as we've got Joe as well. Oli might well turn round and say enough's enough. Hookers are the last thing we need especially as Whitey has also filled in. Don't understand this move as Moore or Oli won't be happy playing 3rd fiddle.

Why wouldn’t oil want to learn from 2 top hookers and it’s a squad game we never know if leaky or oil get injured or lack form we don’t have any cover at 6 or 7, so white can’t jump in at 9 this time round

I don't get this. First he is an extra squad member, l mean it's not as if we haven't been calling out for that. He is an experienced Championship player, not from the lower leagues. At his age, he will still have plenty to offer too. 

And who knows what Moxon's plans are for him.

No disrespect but Brandon had a number of teams interested in him, its very unlikely he has chose Batley just to play as someones back up given the reasons why he left Fax.

Benny K no offence wouldn’t of learnt anything other than being over the top celebrating the errors 

leak also has been injured the last 2 years serious 

the player could be Cameron smith or James Roby you and toffee dog would still find place to moan 

maybe mocko wants another hooker/loose forward to get us back in the top 6 having failed massively last year when we didn’t have a 9 fit

A bit harsh if you're blaming him for the loss! I can think of more important factors as to why we came second.

I’m not blaming anyone I just think playing your stand off at 9 and making the interchanges when we did help our roll having watched us 99% of the last season I think majority of people will say white is either a 6 or 13

New hooker, up to 23 so might replace Ben Kaye at 24....
