Its really not working out for him in the NRL  is it? dropped by the Knights this week now- will the former MOS seek a return to SL? or will he be happy to see out his days in reserve grade or bush footy?

Seeing him play here I'd say he wouldn't want to play reserve grade. I am sure clubs will line up to sign him.

He was a model pro in the UK, question is why can't aussies get the same from him. Is he just an easy scapegoat

or does his style of play simply fit SL a lot better than NRL?

If I remember rightly he had a really good running game here , which has largely vanished at the Knights . He looks a totally different player as they’ve turned him into a passer organiser type who runs very occasionally . With Gamble being even worse the mix in the halves there just looks wrong

The Knights have options in the halves this year with Jack Cogger signed from Penrith (a Grand Final winner last year).

The Knights have started with two losses.

The coach has decided to give Cogger a start.

Not a massive shock.

Hastings has performed well at Newcastle, as he did at Wests Tigers. O’Brien changing things after starting the season with two defeats isn’t a surprise seeing as he has another good half in the squad, albeit a bit harsh. Getting left out once though is hardly a career-ender.

That's the way I think for some players ..give them a different role and they thrive

In the 'behind the scenes' videos across clubs the Aussies are often then most vocal

Personally I think Jackson would be a great readmission back into SL

Pryce and Hastings still out of favour, I'm afraid.

Yep, no surprises there going poorly, lucky to get a win against storm with no Munster and Hughes.
