Newcastle have won their last four matches, going into this game in good form.
For Canterbury Bulldogs, they have had to severely shuffle their resources for this game and with them lacking consistency, it would not be a surprise to see them fall short in this one.

Decent game that . Moses looking good on his return , the Red Sea parts for him to stride through and he commands that team around , which prophets from his presence

Back online in time for the end of extra time in Dolphins v Canberra.

Sent to Golden Point by Rapana's first-ever drop goal and won by his second!

Hell of a game all around.

The ‘winning’ drop goal was tipped. Things no longer going the dolphins way.

Looking to the Sunday game…

There will be plenty of top players missing in this game owing to State of Origin, but both Sydney Roosters and North Queensland Cowboys can still call upon some real quality for this matchup.
The Chooks seem to be better suited to deal with their absentees and having looked the part with the ball in recent games.

The Cowboys have had defensive issues lately so this should be a comfortable home success for Roosters…

Having said that tipping matches in this round has been tricky to say the least.

I didn't realise this site was down. I was already having trouble getting on to this site so when I started getting the "Upgrade" msg I just assumed it was chapter next of my log-on problems.

I think the Chooks should do this comfortably.

I think the ref might have cost the Dolphins the game yesterday with one of his drop goal rulings. Did he rule that the first Dolphins goal was No Goal because it was touched in flight? I'm sure that rule was changed a few years back. In fact:

Quote

A drop goal shall be awarded notwithstanding that the ball touches or has been touched in flight by an opposing player.

Then later the ref must have been reminded by the bunker because he allowed a Raiders' drop goal which was touched.
