Cougars, Oldham and Hornets should all win, particularly with home advantage.

North Wales Crusaders must win to keep their hopes of a top 6 place alive. A tough ask but we have beaten Town this season and have won in Workington before now. We'll need a good start and to keep the momentum of the game in our favour. It'll be close but I think Crusaders will win.

Easy this week,all home wins.

I'm not sure I'd describe the Workington V North Wales fixture as easy to call, but I agree with the prediction of all home wins.

Tough day for Midlands Hurricanes at Boundary Park.

We were missing a few players with injuries and faced an Oldham side similarly afflicted but full of confidence and solid in defence. Getting nilled stings but we fuffed the few chances we managed to create. Oldham did what they needed to do in front of a noisy 1,500 crowd.

Just home from Workington...a long trip but very much worth going for the result!

We were pretty poor for 20 minutes and I thought Town would romp away with the game but a red card at the end of the first half change the game in out favour. Town defended well for a spell when they went down to 11, but Crusaders improved and broke down a dogged defence...Towns discipline was their main problem as the gave away penalty after penalty and Crusaders benefited - although when we went 22 - 24 up I thought we'd blown it again letting the ball bounce out on the full from a kick off and then fluffing the drop out to give Town and easy 2 points to level the game. Carl Forster became the pantomime villain for the Town fans but he rallies his side to score a try in the last 5 minutes. It was edge of the seat stuff right to the end.

360 miles for our small bunch of travelling fans today.

Carl Forster….. pantomime villain! What an attempt to whitewash what he’s really like. I suggest you find the pic of him on the Town FB page where he’s about to land on Matty Henson, one knee to the back of the head, the other into the small of the back. What a nice man!

What was Towns penalty count for the game? How many high shots did your players make against Crusaders? One picture, out of context, doesn't tell the story of the game. I spoke to Anthony Murray after the game..his assessment was that Towns poor discipline cost the game...I'm sure if Town had carried on playing like they did in the first 20 minutes you'd have won easily.

Yes, you’re right, our discipline cost us the game, but it doesn’t excuse the antics used by your coach to change the atmosphere as soon as he came on. It’s always been the same since he was at Whitehaven.

“Out of context”…..wow!

I've looked at the photo ...he could be landing on the player, or he could be completely past him before any contact...as I say the photo has no context because we don't know if Carl landed on the player or not. I can't remember any penalty given against Carl for dangerous play/tackle

Well, I saw him commit 4 fouls for which he wasn’t penalised, so your whitewashing doesn’t work.

Forster absolutely milked the red card that Jordan Burns got. Totally conned the ref into giving it. Some might call that cheating.

The match review panel, having watched the video, have rescinded the red card and not punished Burns. That speaks volumes.

Quite right Derwent, but perhaps CF should be up before the disciplinary next week?

But no fouls were given....so, perhaps your Town tinted glasses need cleaning

I thought at the time, a red card was harsh, but it was certainly yellow, and I expect that's what the review panel have concluded too.
