Pretty close to our best performance of the season. Leigh have been brilliant recently, 9 out of 10 matches, and with a really great attacking shift on the edges. But Rovers defence was elite level.

Defence wins comps. We have the best defence in the league. Wigan needed to play against 12 men to beat us, so roll on to the Grand Final and let’s see if they can beat 13 of us.

What a time to be alive! 🔴⚪🔴

I'm liking the way everyone(including pundits) already have the grand final as hull kr v Wigan. Warrington are quietly flying under the radar nicely.  We've beaten the Robins twice thus season and smashed Wigan at their place. Don't write us off just yet!😉

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Well played Hull KR and what a tactician Mr Peter's is, he must have recognised how Matt Moylan is suspect - no not got the heart under the high short ball with attacking players advancing on him - and Willie played the short up'n unders from the beginning, this is not the first time that Moylan has shown his frailties in this dept and obviously Willie exploited it, if a numpty like me can see that what is Adrian Lam looking at, he is playing a guy with 6 on his back at 1 and a guy with 1 on his back at 6, yes Moylan is good linking up, but when the other team is exploiting a weakness change it round, poor thinking from Adrian Lam not to do so.

Leigh were 2nd best in every aspect of the game tonight, not that they played all that bad but KR's defence was superb, good luck to them in the play offs.

Earlier in the season, when Moylan first moved to full back, he was chiming into the line late and creating a lot. Now he seems to stand outside Lam, which does give away where the play is going. I think the only reason he’s at full back now is Lam doesn’t trust his defence while stood in the line.

If he’s going to stay at full back we have to do much better at putting pressure on the kicker. We look terrified of giving a pen away. And that’s been the same for a while as well, was called out at Magic Weekend.

KR are a very well balanced and coached side, losing a full back meaning your main attacking player then had to move back and away from the line usually messes a gameplay right up, but it didn't impact KR at all, just seamlessly switched to the new plan. Lost a man for 10 minutes and defensively stoll looked very comfortable. That bodes very well for the play offs.

I thought Leight looked very lacking in attacking direction, just going through the motions hoping someone made a break, rather than creating opportunities. Defensively still looked aggressive and quick, so I don't think the coach has lost the players or anything. They just look an attack really needing freshened up.

Well if Mr Lam decides to play Moylan at Full Back next week I think we can say good bye to the play offs as this I have no doubt will be a one match shoot out. And as bad as people (even Saints fans) are saying Wellens is as a coach after watching this Leigh game back his attacking options will have been delivered on a plate for him, those being all behind the kicker who delivers a high short up and under to Moylan and a good chase, as I intimated earlier I don't think Moylan has the tenacity (I will stop short of saying courage) for this particular type of play. So who should it be O'Brien or Hardaker? For the reason that O'Brien has a better passing game when linking from Full Back he would be my choice. That problem should be alleviated next season with the arrival of David Armstrong.

I also agree with you re Moylan's positioning in the attacking line, yes it does somewhat give the indication away of which way we will attack, but that wouldn't be so bad if Asiata was anything like the attacking threat he was before he suffered his long lay off's and he operated on the other side of the play the ball, but sadly for me (him and Hull FC) he does not offer that attacking threat any longer.

Asiata was anonymous last night. Not seen it back (thanks sky sports + for sparing me!), but watching live it seemed like he didn’t get himself involved nearly as much as usual, which led to O’Brien or Lam getting the ball centrally, rather than on an edge.

Agree on the full back. O’Brien would be a better all round full back than hardaker, given how lam wants to play.

The elephant in the room for Rovers is that they have virtually no kicking game. If someone like Mark Sneyd had been a Robin this year we'd have won the league after 24 games.

This one will come down to who wants it most.

I know what you mean in that you don't have a player with the all round kicking game of a Marc Sneyd but Lewis' laser guided bombardment of Moylan was pretty impressive.

Phiggins, totally agree regarding Asiata.I was unaware he was even on the field. He drew the man and passed. Its appeared  to me that he didn't want to get involved.. Is he injured yet again or does he not want to get injured ? Very curious. He's a different player to last season.

Abdul leaving and us relying on Lewis’ kicking game was my biggest fear coming into this season. I think his progression has been amazing though, strong tactical kicks on out sets and great high bomb. It’s good to see young players who are clearly coachable.

My only gripe is Rovers’ lack of repeat sets, but that’s clearly a coaching decision: Peter’s’ prefers to hand the ball over in the corner box, rather than take the 7-tackle risk of a ball into the in-goal. But to be fair it’s probably worked.

Annoying sorry, it’s that drum in my ear… and the image of the big fat half naked guy trying to create a atmosphere 😂😂😂, he’s put me of kebabs for life my mate 🍺

I assumed you meant that, but yeah it is the complete opposite word to the one you wrote 😂.

And on the point of having a drum, etc. I have no real issue with it, I think it adds to the atmosphere - Doesn't really feel that way when you're literally next to the person with the drum though.

Can't say I like Huddersfield version of a drum though
