Wandering pete Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 (edited) ..my guess would be Salford..only a guess mind..sure that there was an interest before his injury...may be completely wrong Edited October 15, 2024 by Wandering pete 1

Let one of the best local forwards I’ve seen a Barrow shirt go since Brett McDermott. Best of luck Ellis barrows loss and another teams gain 1 1

An opportunity to play in the South of France? You can't blame him: I can think of worse places, many of them in SL. Good luck to him. Massive boots to fill. 1

Good luck to him, always given 100%, can’t ask for more than that. 2
RLDB Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 Ryan Brown left Wigan and signed a 2 yr deal at Leigh. Did a good job for Barrow this season. 2

Indigogo Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 Heard you may be getting another former Cougar other than Bish. 1

ghost of uncle fester Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 I'm glad this is anon ,as I'd point out what Brett McDermott commented on the clubs post ,Brett's a legend and Jesus I'd never diss the man as I value my life ,but sometimes it's more than pay him what he's worth ,it's a full time opportunity that unfortunately the club can't match, particularly opportunity wise and financially wise ,as of now nobody knows if Toulouse beat Wakefield, nor do they know if Toulouse get up via a better IMG score than cas ,sometimes like tee ritson an opportunity arrises that the powers that be do the right thing by the player and stand aside ,it's also a lifestyle thing for Ellis ..there's an old saying in sport and life ,it's not who leaves ,its all about who replaces them ,let's sit back and wait 2

tec Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Good luck to Ellis always gave 100% and hopefully he can be a success wherever he ends up. 1
Left Winger Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Can't fault Ellis for giving full time a go. He's always given 100% for the club. Hope it works out for the lad. 1

He was our captain this season, scored 17 tries in 20 league appearances. Back Rower that occasionally filled in at centre, but back row is his position. Good player and signing if you get him. 2
2Cents Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 (edited) Would love to get Joe Bullock back. Think he remains close to the Raiders. Appears Warrington loaned him to Widnes, Hull and Salford, but he's hardly played. UPDATE: He signed a new 2 year deal with the Wolves... Tee Ritson just didn't make the grade in SL at Saints. He hardly got a pass on the wing and was resigned to bringing the ball out against the opponents forwards and got hurt quite a bit. He can't have been a happy camper at St Helens. Wellens didn't rate him and he wasn't even selected in Swinton 17 via Hunslet last week, who will now play in League 1. Tee's a good championship winger and was great with Barrow due to Miloudi feeding him. He's on a 2 year deal with Saints but they've just signed 2 new wingers, Aussie Kyle Feldt and Lewis Murphy to replace Tommy Makinson and he won't be selected over Bennison, so doubt he'll see any 1st team games. I'd be interested to learn what his plans are? Edited October 16, 2024 by 2Cents 1

Ulverstonian Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 Shane Toal signed for 2 more years. I for one am pleased he has signed again. Gives his all every time and does have an eye for a break. Dodgy defence at times but hey. A great local who will play wherever asked. 6
