If you like what you see, you can then order a subscription which works out even cheaper, and on direct debit is only £9.75 per quarter.
I might go for this myself John seeing as I get it every month.
Maybe I should stop taking it to work with me, because everyone goes through my League Express after I've finished with it potentially stopping some sales

All right, all right, all right. I do usually pick up a copy when I'm at an airport / in the smoke / up North.

Indeed. A loss. I loved reading Treiziste Diary, surely no Englishman knows more about the French game than Cliff?

I will miss the diary so much as I have read pretty much every month since i was 18! I have always been interested in the state of the game in France, but Cliff also tells us about the things going on beneath the results and goings on in the LER, an insight into the fabric of the game in France.
So, Thank you Mr Spracklen

I've only dipped in to a couple of articles so far, but it, once again, looks very good. I hadn't got to Cliff's exemplary diary, so the news in this thread was a shock. He will be missed by everyone, I'm sure.
"Perhaps it would be better that future criticism of sports be made on the narrow basis of what is being discussed, without reference to other sports, unless those sports offer a solution to the problem in hand." - Brian 'Pigface' Moore
"What happens in rugby union? A player takes the ball, moves forward a little and gets tackled. A whole load of players then roll about on the ground. Pheep! The referee gives a penalty." - Simon Barnes
