And Wendall wasn't? A Warrington fan saying his team getting to the finals would be better for the game than a French team laugh.gif

But that has nothing whatsoever to do with mine or PMJ's post. Jesus Christ, I think some people are really special.

Cats to shade hopefully

A lot of Yorkshiremen believe that when God created the world, he made it with perfect balance.
He balanced the hot areas with the cold areas. the dry areas with the wet areas.
And, in creating Yorkshire, he created the most glorious place on earth - full of majestic beauty and sporting giants.........and for balance he created....... Lancashire.

On that showing, I'm happy at the prospect of facing Leeds.
If we win.
Catalan will be full strength, for the 1st time this season.
WE still have the play-offs, they have "nothing else to play for", and we got to be 100% focussed.
As with Leeds, the cup is Catalans' season in 1 game.
We still, in theory, have the Grand Final in our sights.
I'd rather we viewed it as having the double in our sights, and go for that.
Wires record breaking 10 match run: L 16-17 ; L 34-36 ; L 24-44 ; L 20-38 ; L 8-46; L 14-26 ; L 20-40 ; L 22-48 ; L 14-20 ; L 8-60. Thanks Jimmy.The Glamour Club. Apparently.

It wouldn't. It really wouldn't. Catalans would be a boost for the game in many ways not least for strengthening the game in South of France and shattering the public perception of a sport which has not progressed from the original clubs who split away in 1895.

I'd love it if Catalans won.

As a neutral may the best team win. have witnessed some superb entertainment in recent weeks this semi-final deserves a sell out. Watching football is like watching paint dry but they fill stadiums. Why the hell can,t we.

I feel suitably underwhelmed, 10,000 for a semi-final down the road is hardly ground breaking stuff!

Did the 15k who turned up yesterday, assuming a 50/50 split yielding 7.5 k per side leave you similarly underwhelmed?

I am beginning to feel sick with nerves. I see this as a bigger potential banana skin than last year versus wigan. I was very confident we could beat wigan, and whilst I am also confident we will beat catalan,it's a tricky one. Clint Greenshields is moaning in the news of the world today about the venue, this after Ferriol rubbished morley. I think these les cats players may be feeling slightly worried! biggrin.gif Interesting to note that there has been no "mouthing off" ahead of the game from Warrington, they have just maintained a diplomatic silence. Well done wires.

Getting nervous.

Being a Wire Fan we don't get many BIG games.

Now is the time to make a name for once, rather than the bottle boys we have been for years & years.

now is the time.

now the wires.

Oh aye, Community Shield is on at the same time, well that takes away from the non-RL audience, and probably those RL fans who are either Chelsea or Man U fans too.

Catalans strongest team so far this season. Combine that with the simple fact they have nothing else to play for this season makes them dangerous.
Wire had better be on top form to come through this one.

My head says that for the sake of RL a Wire win would be best. It would mean a probably sellout at Wembley between two massive clubs in comparison to a probable damp squib where Leeds would walk it.

I just can't support the Wire though, come on Catalans!!!!
