ameliasdaddy
London winning 16-12, haven should win this if they stop piggy backing London up the park
Keith T
Mr Hewer's been busy first half giving 9 pens against London and 5 against Haven (3 of them by Hepi). I remember when ............................."It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996. Keith T
With the results London have been getting of late I think if Henderson was at any other club he would have been sacked by now. In his post match interviews on London Broncos TV he is always saying he has a young side and some of them wont be playing next game but I never notice many changes. Good job he has a multi-millionaire Chairman/Owner. I remember when ............................."It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. DavidM
He's a great talker and personality but that's very different from being a good coach . That was a big call to go with someone totally untested . Full time with so much money they've been as awful and disappointing as ever
Egbertnobacon
Jeez London must have been poor conceeding 30 at their ground As bad as your repeatedly ridiculous score predictions

The Voodooguru
Great result for our neighbours. Harsh on Hewer being put in that position to ref a club he is a supporter of at home, but persuading a ref to travel up here on a Saturday night can't be easy. Our boys need to turn up tomorrow and do a job on a Hunslet side who more or less have to win. The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet! Spacecake
Played very well in the 2 ND half. Gareth was fair today. London gave him no choice very undisciplined.
wonky
Played very well in the 2 ND half. Gareth was fair today. London gave him no choice very undisciplined.i think Gareth is about the best in our division. Even in the derbies he's usually fair. the futures bright, the futures blue and white

wonderofwood
Whitehaven was the best team throughout the game , just got back, and even at 16-0 they where playing the best rugby. Take nothing away from haven but London have put the cue on the rack for this year , they don't need £50,000 and they all have next year on their minds. Lets hope they keep that attitude and lose all their remaining games . Wouldn't it be great to have two Cumbrian teams in the last four. see you all tomorrow at Hunslet
rockerlad
Went to the game, haven played very well and If anything hewer favoured London, disallowed a perfectly good haven try at 0-0 and let them get away with high tackle after high tackle. Town just need to win tomorrow and I think both haven and town will be playing championship rugby next season
donald
Mr Hewer's been busy first half giving 9 pens against London and 5 against Haven (3 of them by Hepi). strong rumours last night that hepi is signing for fev next season gave away a few stupid penalties last night scored a good try second half and ended up going off injured after being flattened while on the floor so maybe his last game for us hope not just after see how bad the injury is
unicorn106
Attendance 783. No more than would have been there on a Sunday really. I didn't think they would get that many for a Saturday evening !! Not bad but then again they could be using the same counting logic that had 1800 in the wreck for the Town game
