This thread is going to be a decade old soon.

Do we have anything planned?

A cake with a file in the middle?

Fake passports?

A getaway car?

Plastic Surgery in a clinic in Switzerland?

A new identity as the owner of a bar in Torremolinos?

Sometimes when I find myself moaning about the internet youtube reminds why it's magic to just have instant access to stuff you'd forgotten, half remembered, voices that are too good not to listen to more often than I do, and versions that are almost too good to share ...

A good song to have on, if you're in a toasty-warm room, maybe with a glass of something nice to hand, looking out at a snowscape this evening.

That song has some immense versions .... a glass of red and a wind-and-rainscape here,

"And on a night like this

I deserved to get kissed.

At least once or twice!"

So Lady Day then .....

Great band and one of the first Oi! bands the stigma attached to Oi! is the nazi skinhead scene which is why I am in a group called SHARP(skinheads against racial prejudice).

Well as you can see from the pic I have skin affiliations myself. SHARP did a great job when it was really needed.

Yes mate they did Roddy Mereno out of the oppressed started the movement and it's getting bigger hopefully the stigma of being a skinhead will be overturned and people will see it started in the late 60's with white working class kids and black kids hanging out together and listening to ska and reggae.

Is that something you caught Robin while not being good or careful?

One thing I like about this thread is you're not likely to find your post moved to another one based on spurious logic. Though for that to happen you'd need an amalgamation of music haters, silence fans and disenchanted music lovers all agreeing about which way their moans are going. Unlikely  bedfellows and strange companions  are a heady and curious mix.

Cue song:

"And nothing ever happens, nothing happens at all
The needle returns to the start of the song
And we all sing along like before "

I really liked the Del Amitri song when it was released and bought The CD. The lyrics especially.

At the moment I am listing to the new Magnum album Lost on the road to Eternity. Also Marillion The Gold.

Argus still my fav all time album Robin, Blowin Free gets the hairs on my neck standing up  everytime.

There isn't a weak track on that album....

Maybe Craig could just transfer these last couple of posts to the music thread. I'm more than happy to continue discussing one of my fav bands....?

Continuing from the Obituary thread , Argus by Wishbone Ash an amazing album  and still possibly my all time fav, The King Will Come, Warrior and Blowin Free this album was soooo good it more or less ruined The Ash they tried but could never  better it and sadly Martin Turner and Andy Powell split hence the 2 bands still touring today.
