Maximus Decimus Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Decent balance there I'd say. A Widnesian in Ireland blog What is the best system for Super League? An honest appraisal
Kenilworth Tiger Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 What if you;re not interested? Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in. I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.
hindle xiii Posted September 4, 2010 Author Posted September 4, 2010 What if you;re not interested? It does seem rather a tame thread for TRL these days. No doubt the difference between Warrington and Wigan will perk it up eventually...
goldcard Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 It does seem rather a tame thread for TRL these days. No doubt the difference between Warrington and Wigan will perk it up eventually... Leeds, 3 times champs on most, Wires still get double figures in spite of last year's final position. Don't Catalans have a French deal for home games anyway? Salford could have possibly had a couple more games, but based on recent seasons, guess the figures reflect what Sky feel will get most folks watching, and higher advertising revenue. Wires record breaking 10 match run: L 16-17 ; L 34-36 ; L 24-44 ; L 20-38 ; L 8-46; L 14-26 ; L 20-40 ; L 22-48 ; L 14-20 ; L 8-60. Thanks Jimmy. The Glamour Club. Apparently. Captain Morgan Trophy Holders.(I still think we have the British Coal 9's trophy hidden somewhere, too...) Ooooh, the Challenge Cup!!! Thank you Tony..... And again!!! You are bloody joking, aren't you? Three games was three too many! Rethymno Rugby League Appreciation Society Founder (and, so far, only) member.

Don't see why - finish two places higher, be on two games more. Seems perfectly logical to me oderint dum metuant

MrPosh Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Bit harsh on Hudds, considering their league position. People called Romans they go the house

hindle xiii Posted September 6, 2010 Author Posted September 6, 2010 Ok Statto. How many were home or away fixtures.... With the exception of Murrayfield Magic weekend, which was of course neutral, all of them were home or away fixtures!
Red Willow Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Of the 3 games Sky deemed suitable to inflict on the viewing public 1 was Murrayfield which doesn't count the other 2 were at Home V Rovers and another home game but quite who it was escapes me. Most of the season is a horrid blur.
hindle xiii Posted September 6, 2010 Author Posted September 6, 2010 ...and another home game but quite who it was escapes me.I dunno if you're being serious or not! As the other match was the home win against St Helens...
Dave T Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 I know people grumble about Sky, but considering the low number of teams in the league it means that we get to see our teams televised a hell of a lot. 10 of the 14 teams had at least a quartr of their games broadcast live throughout the year.

Most of the season is a horrid blur. Wasn't it the home win against Saints? "it is a well known fact that those people who most want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it."
