town4me
No composure in attack. Too much erratic passing early on in the set causing the ball to be unnecessarily turned over.

We really need to be smarter, our middles make loads of yards but our options just let teams off the hook time and again
DavidM
Some Hollywood passes that weren’t on , some lateral play without direction and poor ends to sets then suddenly we went back to play the ball and run hard and got some reward off it . Leon has said if in doubt run hard tackle hard . Patrick put in a couple of bell ringers
bobg
Leon was just pleased to get the win, he said there was disruption prior to the warm up, hope Scott is not too serious, but never good when they go off on a stretcher, For me MOM , Larne Patrick but would not have argued with Olstrom, Blagbrough or Wilkes. DavidM
Probably Wilkes for me . The guy is just a leader by example and started the tough yards and said follow me , close with Karl who was strong on his side

Just.
westizbest
Pretty poor ... things need to improve pretty sharply .. these travellers Leon has signed need to decide whether they are going to make an impact at this club or disappear into the RL wilderness , the money that’s been invested into the squad things just simple have to be better . Seems like all is not well off the pitch either . Karl olstrom was immense along with Wilkes .. has the boy Cunningham played a senior game before ? We certainly aren’t a place to be giving kids gametime this season
Rango
Don’t think it helps the team with a large influx of duel reg. one or two fair enough, but anymore seems to do more harm than good in the grand scheme of things.

Well done for getting behind your team, great vocal support.

DavidM
Didnt go well for the lad but he was dropped into arguably the toughest role on the pitch knitting everything together from scratch , not knowing anyone or the calls or anything . He was obviously disappointed . The other three were very strong , Gregson especially in the first half, Patrick throughout and Blagbrough put in a big shift . You could tell it was all a bit patchy ,with some mitigation as Leon says but at home certainly so far that’s been the exception more than the rule . Last year we’d have probably lost . As long as you win you can cop it and keep trying to improve . We’ve learned that’s all that matters
Rango
The referee was abysmal as usual. Equally as bad for both teams. The bar isn’t set too high at this level for referees. Can you run? Yeah? Well you’re refereeing Sunday if you can seems to be the criteria! To be fair they don’t get too much help from their touch judges.

Derwent
A pretty honest and fair assessment from Leon in his post match interview. Said we are a niaive and immature team, not in terms of age but in terms of how we play the game in that we try to score off every set. Said we struggle with the basics of ball retention and building pressure and invite teams back into the game. Think that sums us up pretty well to be honest. I’m not prejudiced, I hate everybody equally

I just think it’s too much disruption to drop more than a couple in at once. Maybe if they train for the week previous it would help mitigate the lack of continuity in our play. ultimately it’s all about the two points though. We move on to the next game. Regarding all is not well off the pitch as someone previously has stated, well that’s rubbish. I know several of the players and they are more than happy how things are going. Sadly some people want to sh*t stir for one very obvious reason.
