It really does!

He is a quality coach, in the top 4 coaches in the SL to be fair.

Reckon his next stop is an NRL club. His style and approach would probably suit the competition.

His initial coaching record was not graat but he seems to be a good learner. He also conducts himself well. When Bernard was having a hissy fit after the grand final, Steve was calm and accepting of the result. Too many coaches look for excuses but I don’t recall hearing him using any.

He’s certainly silenced the doubters. To go from keeping Catalans up to taking them to very close to winning a Grand Final with a Challenge Cup win along the way is some story. In hindsight, losing Catalans for Leigh in that Million Pound Game would have been monumental. And Leigh would have four relegations from four seasons.
