That's right it's not written in stone.  My post has been a response to Monkeymagic22 who posted that it will be a fev  v leigh million pound game.  Also said that they have a lot more disposable funds to get them there. The guy is way off the mark if he thinks money will get them there. By the way Phil it's not about how many teams fev have won and nor by how many points. I am not questioning their capabilities. Go back to Monkeymagic22 post then read my response.

Clearly money does help get you to the million pound game?. More money spent, generally results in better players and a better team. It's not certain but it's a massive advantage.

Just watched the game back again corrected my original post Inu out jumped Briscoe not Ferguson. Our kicking game was poor just up in the air with no players near enough to put pressure on,i would have put it on the ground behind Ferguson making him bend down for it.Briscoe worked hard and was one of our best players but he threw possession away four times while attacking in the Leigh half.agree he had little support.Jones may have made a difference he reads the game and is often on the end of breaks.Leigh did two  scruffy play the balls that have been penalised all season but ref let them go.We did look more dangerous when Ford came on Jacks nearer the edge seemed to work.Great try by Ipape but Davies must have been off balance or read the play wrong 9 times out of 10 he would have tackled him round the legs.Hall and Hellewell were ok but i thought Jesse had a very quiet game.Ferres was poor and has not been good value for money.Leilua does not do enough in attack or defence, tackling like he is warming up.Just win the next two and then lets have another crack at them at The Sports Village.

Reight.... its a new week.

I never really put a lot of kudos into the sundecks cup .... yes I know a lot who like the day out etc etc, but I genuinely believe the two competition points in two weeks is a much more important and valuable prize.

Mac will look and learn from the game.... he always does....

He isn't sitting there whinging about the ref. He's planning to address what needs addressing.

We go again.

UTR.

STOP talking sense on here Robin!!!

True Robin but you don't need to be brian mac to see whats needed a younger bigger fitter pack who can bully the opp and make good yardage and set a good platform for the backs

Bang on mate I may be out of sync with this one but since day 1 I have and always refer to the 1985 cup as the mickey mouse cup.

An advantage it is, but it still doesn't guarantee sl status. As a fev fan that you should understand.

There are no guarantees about anything mate, and at this moment Leigh are favourites. Plus although I'd expect us to win the play off semi final, York, Fax, Barrow or Batley would need beating and aren't push overs.

As we've found out at Batley.

Leigh are building a team

Maybe.......but not for SL. If they win promotion they'll have to build a new team as they've got way too many overseas players for the quota in. SL. So, in effect, they too are just buying a team to get promotion. They're not building a long term squad at all !

"Out of the way, son. Where's my medal?" Alex Murphy's immortal words as David Hobbs scores his 2nd try in the '83 Cup Final!

Absolutely. Looks like Charney will be first and would replace Inu.
