fleeting? we've won over 45 trophies in our history and they all count even now, the 'Super League Era' doesn't wipe out successes before it, it's always interesting how this is always used by fans of clubs who have mainly had their successes in this 'era' so try and make out that any dominant clubs before 1996 don't count anymore.

The 'Super League era' is a mere baby in the history of the game.

Anyone who thinks 'Huddersfield have never won nowt' are either new to the game or merely judging on the last 25 years of the games history.

Interesting match thread thus far, is the game being played in black and white or the new fangled colour?

Either way it will be irrelevant to me as I'll be listening on the wireless.

Whichever Wire/Wolves lot turn up I still have to fancy Huddersfield...or Fartown.

Is Albert Rosenfeld playing?, his clash with Brian Bevan may determine the outcome of this game.

Hudds 28 Wire 16.

Hopefully an impossible comparison to draw in season 2023 🤞

I share your hopes, but to be honest I think Wire have already done just enough, and are safe from relegation this year.

Currently Hudds 0 Wire 8 after about 18 mins, Jake Wardle a try and Ratchfod 2 goals.

Huddersfield should perhaps have put a clause in the loan agreement.

Will Pryce makes a break and side steps Kyle Amor who throws out an arm and catches him around the head, stays on the field though and Pryce is also okay.

Ref gives pen after Hudds reefed ball out, McQueen disagrees with the ref verbally and Ratchford's penalty kick is 10m easier.

Yates held up over the line.

Summat like 4/5 successive Hudds sets on the Wire line, where did they get this sort of defence from all of a sudden?

Finally their defence cracks, Senior in at the corner.

I do not understand why Huddersfield agreed to let Jake Wardle leave

Theyve got a home grown local young kid with the world at his feet begging for game time and they play a 32 Leutele, 33 year old Cudjoe and sign a 34 year old Naiqama and let the young kid go?

He's contracted to Hudds until end of next season I understand, he's only at Wire this season.

But you're quite right, why is he there at all?
