Final Eels 34-10 a game of two halves that showed both sides of Parramatta.

By the way on a slightly trivial note I didn’t like the Storm jersey they used in this match. It was said to be grey and black. It came over on the tv as grubby white and black. It looked like they were using an old kit that had gone off with lots of washes.

Yes I agree . Jekyll and Hide . They could beat Panthers again in a big final or they could get stuffed .

Has to be this year as that team is breaking up. Imo when Parra click nobody  else comes close. Problem is there are more and more  games when they don't click. Still they have Penrith's number winning the last two and only losing to them in the play offs last year in" controversial circumstances "

Gold Coast v Canberra is being played in great conditions in the Womens Round.

HT. Titans 12- 16. Canberra went to an early lead before Titans leveled at 6-6. Canberra then went ahead with 2 tries and a conversion to lead 6-16 before Tapene was sent to the bin for punching about 10 mins before the break. Titans then peppered the line before Boyd went over a min before HT and the try was converted.

As a tribute to Womens Round we have a female video ref( Kasey Badger) in the bunker and she is faultless in her decisions so far.

Full Time.  Titans 24- Raiders 36. Raiders comfortable winners with Titans scoring a converted try in the closing couple of minutes to make the score more respectable.

Another solid performance from prop Tapene with D. Fifita totally ineffective throughout the match.

Canberra take on Penrith in the capital next round.

If the NRL is a week to week league then Paramatta are the ultimate Week to Week team and ifficult to tip for or against. Honestly if Holbrooks Gold Coast Titans were next up they would be in with more than a punchers chance depending upon the Parra attitude.
