Interesting....."Back-up to help out injuries in our backline" -Cresta.

Anyone have injury reports on Bulman and Worthington?

Otherwise, after Sunday's performance, more than happy with Corkill and Toal as centres, but this youngster from top-side Leigh sounds like the real deal and scores tries.

It's been an inspired move by Cresta, imo, moving Shane to centre and partnering him with Broady. With Rio and Shawey on the other side and Cressy at the back weve finally got a bit of pace into the backs again.  However, unless someone is injured,  I would personally like to see a winning performance rewarded with the players retaining their places until such time as they dont perform or are injured.

Obviously Cresta has forgotten more about coaching than I'll ever know and I'm not privvy to what goes on behind the scenes but I just wonder what, if any,  effect it may have on morale if one of the team has to make way for a loanee after such a fantastic win?

On the plus side Keanen is a good centre and  hopefully the boys will  be buzzing with renewed confidence after Sunday's  brilliant win and can now string together a run of successful performances

Bulman will be back at Haven soon

Brand is a few years ahead in his development ahead of Corkill at the moment hence is a better player so will likely take his spot. We need to win these next 2 games.

If Worthington is fit I'm unsure as I think Toal is better in the centres and Broady/Cresswell don't deserve to be dropped so going to be a nightmare for Cresta.

Brand is an excellent player, hopefully will sign long term with Leigh, his best performances for were at fullback in SL 2021 and in the right wing in 2022, he was our leading try scorer until Blake Ferguson’s arrival.

Very quick, runs much harder than his weight and has really good hands, also good coming away from his own line, I hope he goes well for you guys. I’ll be keeping an eye out.

If I hear Cresta right, Worthington will be playing in the pack at London. Seems only place available for him with Brand likely to replace the very unfortunate Corkhill at centre. "We need experience in the backs"..... - Crarey.

Think Worthington will be back in the squad, Bulman injured.

Don't know why barrow haven't said why he's not playing but he has had quite a nasty concussion and is awaiting a specialist, all this going back to haven is nonsense

Poor comments slating Bulman he's done nothing wrong and as stated in a previous post he has hardly received a pass in a try scoring position.

We were spoilt with Miloudi's brilliant service to Ritson. Worthington's rugby ability is opposite to Hakims, his strength is defence, not offence, which he himself honestly said in his arrival video. I concur there's hardly been a single good pass from Worthington to Bulman to give him a chance of scoring. Might not matter now with the arrival of Brand and Toal playing great as centre alongside Corkill and with Shaw and Broadbent more than adequate on the wings. Finally some much needed speed in the backs. Will be interesting to see how Worthington performs as a forward, assuming he is?
