Fev like Leigh last year have lost one game up to now at the same stage of the season, and like Leigh did I don't expect Fev to lose another, Fev will have learned more in that defeat to Toulouse than any of their wins, I still have them as firm favourites for promotion, especially as they will be hosting all their play-off games at home including the final, it is Fev's title to lose they should be the master's of their own destiny.

Even though the stats are comparable, its two totally different situations. Leigh were so convincing once they had brought the bulk of their squad in that it was obvious that nobody was going to get near them and it was a forgone conclusion. Fev on the other hand are pretty unlikely at this stage to bring in any signings that will make a huge improvement to their team but a few teams around them seem to have some money to spend and a couple of those teams have already beaten Fev on their own ground to at least give them hope. There is no doubt that Fev will be huge favorites but the gap does not feel as wide in a one off game as the league table is suggesting. It will be interesting to see how Fev handle the pressure once it comes to the business end.

Good reply Oxy, but in my opinion they have a coach who has probably more experience of the big game scenarios as a player than any other coach about, he will be building them up to the finals series as we speak.

Fev are no Leigh and whoever gets promoted from the Championship in my opinion  will struggle In Super League

That may well be so L7, but we are not discussing next season we are talking about this years Championship leading team, who do you think will win it?

Yeah I think whatever happens now come the end of the season there will be at least a couple of teams in the play offs that you feel are capable of beating Fev in a one off game and last year certainly, you never got that feeling.

It's the HOPE that kills you.

Not quite everything, but I knew Leigh would get promoted last year and this year is your turn, but you did let me down with losing a game when I said you would go unbeaten in the league. Looking forward to visiting POR next year and welcoming you to the LSV.

As for the question someone will want to work it out though, and inform us.

I can't believe a side that has lost twice to London Broncos this season will reach the Championship final

But add to that...

I can't believe that a side that has shipped 36 points at home to a team with a terrible away record will reach the Championship final.

I can't believe a team that has lost by wide margins to York, Keighley and Barrow will reach the Championship final.

I can't believe that a team that got thrashed 42-14 by Widnes will reach the Championship  final.

I can't believe that a team that lost 36-0 at Sheffield will reach the Championship final.

I can't believe that a team that conceded 40 points at home to Whitehaven will reach the final

But that's the current top 6 that we have just described!

Fev currently down to 11 men following two sin binnings (Briscoe for tackle in the air, Yei for late tackle) but lead Swinton 12-0 at half time. Swinton down the slope second half.

Swinton just got one in bin 40-0

Sheffield's Halafih sent off after 27 minutes but currently 30-12 up against Barrow with 5 left.

No Sammut for 4 more games, could be tricky for the Raiders now. 3 away games at Haven, Keighley and Newcastle could well determine if they stay up. Overall the run in isn't too bad with home v Swinton and York too, but the pressure will be on.

"I am the avenging angel; I come with wings unfurled, I come with claws extended from halfway round the world. I am the God Almighty, I am the howling wind. I care not for your family; I care not for your kin. I come in search of terror, though terror is my own; I come in search of vengeance for crimes and crimes unknown. I care not for your children, I care not for your wives, I care not for your country, I care not for your lives." - (c) Jim Boyes - "The Avenging Angel"
