PLAYOFF - NWC

Disappointed with some of tries conceded today, losing ball on first tackle, being dragged into touch( which I thought was illegal, however). Overall quite satisfied with season as a whole, but next year will be even harder so recruitment of better players required, not sure where to get them though.

See you all next season. šŸ”µāšŖļø utt.

North Wales went forward miles better with Foster an Co.made more yards and won the game, basic errors killed town again.would like to see town find a kicker in general play for next season, someone who can take control of the last tackle kicks.even kicking for touch get more yards.

2nd best today. But carnt complain on season as whole. Came along way this season after season before. Hopefully muzza sees where we need to improve and players come in to strengthen. Ecclestone a really good signing(seen him few times this season). Roll on 2024 and promotion push utt

I thought we were getting on top until walker went off and then we looked like headless chickens..never to recover. All the young lads will come on for the season and with a few additions next season should be a good un. Let the signings begin šŸ¤ž

Iā€™m still trying to work out why Sabutey rather than sprinting down the field slowed , got tackled then threw into touch . Iā€™ve been waiting ages to see him get that chanceĀ

Maybe carrying a knock but didn't look as quick as we thought he was

He's fast but not Stuart Cocker fast. He's been outpaced a few times, still been good to have him here.

That's a shocking result today and as a whole it's been an ok season on the field but off the field seems to be where the improvement has been made. With that gametime under their belts i can see a lot of the squad improving next year but it'll come down to adding some quality experience and keeping the likes of Caine and JJ fit. We're quite a bit off what's neededĀ  now .

How can the touch judge on the far side disallow a try and the tj right in front award the try. Must admit not sure on the offside rule in this case, but the ball definitely came off the Crusaders player before town player touched down. IMO both sides were poor with the game littered with mistakes and atrocious refereeing.

Aye weird one the official farthest from the action can see more than the two right next to it.Ā

In fairness Sabutey was stood in the in goal before the kick was even made ha ha, he was definitely offside. But the ref seemed to always go to that lino for help, he was making a lot of decisions for him.

I was amazed at that as well, as soon as he had the ball in space I thought it was try time. Not sure what he was thinking.

Yes . I noticed that touchie from SL so it looked like he was there to basically be a second ref to a young inexperienced officialĀ

Disappointed to lose for the first time against a team that finished below us, second half was the worst weā€™ve Iā€™ve this season. At the end of the day it was a development season and we certainly have something to build on for next year. We need a couple of big lads, we couldnā€™t cope with Uncle Fester (Forster) today, he was immense for them. Hopefully see you all next season, UTT.

Absolutely, no coincidence there. Just shows how pivotal Walker is now (and Henson) and he will only get better.

And it's not just brute force with him but that helps. He's a leader.
