I'm surprised the pundits feel that Wire would go onto win. I've not seen enough in that first half tbh from us. I don't know whether it is tactical to play within ourselves in the hot conditions until later.

Next try crucial.

They're in good company.

Ahem.

Yeah I understand it's the correct call - and I aren't a Wire fan - it does just seem harsh sometimes. Especially when it would probably have been given on a non TV match.

And then more social media attention and abuse of referees?

Sadly the ref can't make an honest call without being slaughtered for it anymore.

If anyone was hoping the error count would clear up they must be greatly disappointed.

I can only assume this weather is making the ball very slippy.

This seems to happen a lot in Lancashire...

I appreciate and understand why players do it but how many times do you see a player under a kick, jump and cause himself or his team more problems than he solves?

I lost count of the number of times on Friday night.

By the time the game finishes, will there be a single player on the pitch that hasn't made an error?

With so many handling errors, the main thing distinguishing this from the RUWC on the other channel is that both of these teams are trying to score tries.

Who's idea was it it to play this game with a wet bar of soap instead of a rugby ball?

This game's gone pears shaped.
