A great initiative, well done to the MH. A link with one or more of the big football clubs in the area might be worth pursuing.

What's in it for the big football club?

"We'll sell you a seat .... but you'll only need the edge of it!"

Not a lot really, but they could be willing to give support of some sort to a fledgling sporting organisation that isn't in competition with them. It doesn't cost anything to ask.

True but as said, pick Villa and upset Blues fans - and vice versa. Pick either and upset anyone who supports the Baggies, Wolves or Coventry City.

Put it this way, as a Worcestershire fan I was disappointed that they've tied up with Warwickshire, and that's just cricket. I'll just about go to Edgbaston for tests, but I don't even go there when Worcestershire are playing there, and the fact that Hurricanes have anything to do with them is -for me - a negative.

I mean, I'm only slightly exaggerating, and I'm not going to lose any sleep, but I'd rather they hadn't.

But they all ran out of money which is what was quoted

No my original quote was commenting that the Hurricanes have a genuine chance of really making a success of it.............until the money runs out.

I'm not even sure why there is so much conjecture to that point. It's significantly harder for a fledgling new club to develop sustainable roots in a new area than it is for a more established one

I’ll have a word with Joe Leach for you (I work with his wife)… see if Worcs are keen 😉
